Healthcare, Health Insurance, and lack thereof

I’ve spent the past few months looking at options to purchase health insurance myself, since my employers don’t provide it, and I am confused about options, providers, and everything. Not only that, but as someone who works for minimum wage and is extremely lucky to have her house and car and everything paid off now, I cannot afford any of the options that I have found. I have PeachCare/Amerigroup for my daughter, but there are no options for me that won’t cost me less than $200 a month that I’ve found. Quite simply, I do not have “spare money” for it. I am a single mother that does not and has never gotten child support from my daughter’s illegal alien father. Now, I need health insurance, and I have a reason to need it, but I don’t know what to do. There are only a few ways in Georgia to get Medicaid as an adult: be pregnant, be unemployed with at least one child, be on Social Security. I qualify for neither of those.

Now that I need it in the worst way, I really don’t know what to do.
